The Bloom of Yesterday

Sat. September 30, 2017 ~

r15

An eccentric story of love, created by Chris Kraus, who directed the movie Four Minutes, from his own roots. An eccentric German holocaust scholar Toto plans a holocaust conference but is taken off the managerial role. Unpersuaded, he goes ahead to plan the conference without approval, with a newcomer and Jewish French intern Zazie, who has a unique character, but unbeknownst to them, they come to discover an unexpected truth…. Sprinkled with edgy humor, the new-style romantic comedy tactfully depicts modern men and women who plod on carrying a negative legacy.
